Hey Kelsy,
Okay, I attached a list of online highschools for you that show their fees and stuff. But if I were you I wouldn't choose to attend a cheap online school. I wouldn't want finances in the way of my education. Anyway, you could also get into charter schools. Just check out the link I attached with this note and also make a though search on the online highschool programs you might consider to see which is the best for you. Hope that helps!

The free online programs (like K12, Insight, and Connections Academy) are correspondence programs run by public schools so they are different in each state. The ones you pay for are run by private schools. American High School is one of these type of programs. You follow their rules, curriculum, and schedule. There is very little control over your education other than picking classes. They are like regular school only done on a computer instead of in a classroom. Usually you are considered enrolled in the sponsoring school instead of homeschooled.

Traditional homeschooling is independent of a program. You would follow your state homeschooling laws. You pick your own curriculum and can use anything you want which you decide fits your needs, interests, learning style, and budget instead of the all-for-one curriculum in schools and programs. This can be an all-in-one kit from the same company (like Sonlight, Abeka, etc) or a mix of different companies. Your parents are in charge of your education instead of a school.

Is there a homeschool program online for 8 yr olds?

I wouldn't recommend a full online program for that age; they really need hands on experiences and personal interaction. I know there are a ton of individual subjects that you can use on the computer, but most of them are really more "game" than "education." At that age it would be a serious mistake to just plop your kid in front of a computer for long periods of time anyway, it can cause considerable eye strain and they don't learn social skills clicking a mouse. If that didn't disuade you at all, you could check out the secular K12 program or the Christian Alpha Omega program. I've used the Alpha Omege computer program for 3rd grade science and it is educationaly sound, but my kids didn't like to read a whole chapter of information on the computer so I ended up printing out the whole lesson and then they got back on to answer the questions; kind of defeated the purpose of having a computer program in the first place. E-mail me if you would like to talk further, I've homeschooled for 13 years.
